Thirty-nine people have died and another nine are missing as a result of flooding in the city of Nanning in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in southern China, Nanning Vice Mayor Ding Wei said at a briefing on Thursday."As of now, 39 people have died in Nanning (as a result of the flooding), including due to the breach of the dam at the Liulang Reservoir, and another nine are listed as missing," Ding Wei said.He added that of the 39 flood victims, 26 died due to the dam breach at the Liulang Reservoir in Hengzhou County.
